What in the swiper no swiping is going on here.

When seals aren’t terrorizing children on a San Diego beach, they're stealing fish off the harbor in Washington.

A TikTok posted by @seahawk.151 of a fisherman cleaning up a salmon while a small gang of seals watches on has gone viral. These seals are plotting, scheming, and most importantly preparing to do the most cartoon thing ever. One seal, in particular, is seen cracking his knuckles (fins?) and neck before he lunges for the salmon.

Not only is it insane to see a seal mimic Mr. Burns from The Simpsons, but the cameraman doesn’t even get the crime on camera! How else would this theft be believed in court?

Horrible camera work. I didn’t get a resolution. Did the seal get the fish? Did the fisherman grab it before it could? I have so many unanswered questions

@seahawk.151 did confirm that the seal got the salmon and that he regularly feeds these seals in Puget Sound. But just because they’re your friends does not mean they can jump you like that!

Seals truly are the dogs of the sea.
